Emmys. Comedian Seth Meyers hosted the 2014 Emmy Awards on Monday night. Jolie and Pitt Marry. The world’s most famous couple finally decided to tie the knot on Saturday. The wedding came as a surprise to many “Brangelina” fans, who expected a larger, more public ceremony. Jolie and Pitt have been a couple since 2005, and became engaged in 2012. They had a small ceremony in France, with their children, family, and close friends.

Josh Shaw. The USC football player reportedly lied about how he received ankle injuries, telling coaches that he sustained his injuries after jumping from a second-story balcony on to concrete to save his drowning nephew. After the story was disputed, Shaw came clean and admitted that he had lied. Shaw’s lawyer insists that Shaw fell from a balcony.

Josh Gordon. The NFL player has been suspended from the Cleveland Browns for an entire season. The NFL came down hard on Gordon after he failed a drug test during the off-season and violated the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

United States and British United Nations representatives have criticized Russia for allowing the conflict to continue by supporting the rebels.
